Kiln Dried Slabs

All the kiln dried slabs are taken to our automatic controlled kiln dryer to a %6-8 of humidity. Why does it matter? Wood dries, it can twist, crack, warp, and shrink dimensionally. This can cause major problems if using wood with high moisture content. You want to remove the moisture in the wood because it essentially ensures it won’t move anymore and will last a lifetime (if kept in a climate controlled environment). With our kiln, we can control the humidity, temperature, and air circulation to remove the proper amount of moisture. All these slabs have been air and kiln dried so rest assured they’re project ready!
